(at around 42 mins) During the 1984 period of the film, the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger) loses the skin on his right arm. When Sarah later asks him why he can't travel with them to 2017, he states "My flesh will take years to regrow". Although Terminator 2 - Il giorno del giudizio (1991) already established that the human tissue on a Terminator can actually heal, this is the first movie to confirm that the skin can actually regenerate completely.
