There is a double irony to Wesley Snipes, who plays a character who had killed a lot of people (albeit bad people), being sent to prison for Tax Evasion. First, as noted, Snipes really did go to prison for this charge. And second, legendary mobster Al Capone's famous "Waterloo" was Tax Evasion.
