Three sitcom stars were up for the role of Regan: Anissa Jones (Buffy on Family Affair), Dana Plato (Kimberly on Diffrent Strokes); and Eve Plumb (Jan on The Brady Bunch). Ironically, two of these actresses, Anissa Jones and Dana Plato, would die at a very young age of drug addiction.
