In this film Rene Auberjonois plays a French chef who chases after a water dwelling creature (Sebastian the crab) in an attempt to cook him for dinner. Coincidentally a few years earlier, he appeared as the King in another fairy tale adaption, The Frog Prince, where a different actor playing a French chef attempts to cook a water dwelling creature (this time, Robin William's frog) for dinner.
