Oscar Isaac is the third Star Wars actor or actress to work on an X-Men film, after Ray Park, who played Toad in X-Men (2000) and Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episodio I - La minaccia fantasma (1999), and Rose Byrne, who played the handmaiden Dormé in Star Wars: Episodio II - L'attacco dei cloni (2002). Daisy Ridley was also in talks of playing Jean Grey before the role went to Sophie Turner.
