The poster, album cover, and many publicity photos prominently feature new darker Ghostbusters uniforms designed by Gloria Gresham. In the finished film, the new uniforms appear briefly during the montage, and Winston wears one in the dancing toaster scene. According to the book "Ghostbusters - The Ultimate Visual History" by Daniel Wallace, Ivan Reitman didn't like the look of the new outfits, and decided to go back to the original versions during filming.
