The Golden Gate chase was filmed on location in Louisana because no filming is allowed on the real bridge because of all the traffic, which can't be closed off. This was such a nightmare trying to recreate it what with the writing, direction, stunts and visual effects that it surpassed the drain chase in Terminator 2 - Il giorno del giudizio (1991).
