The scene with the prosecuting lawyer being carried, by the foot, out of the courtroom by a ghost had to have her pass through the doorway, while wired. The grill and upper wall were removed and a specially constructed trick grill was put in its place. This trick grill had a hinged, spring-loaded segment that the wire could pass through. On film, it only showed a little bit. Still, in the end, the whole area was replaced with an upper wall and grill matted in and you can see how the stunt woman's legs are rotoscoped over it, with the characteristic hard edges. In the trailer, the segment is shown before the effects were added and you can see the trick grill and the slight flutter that shows when the wire passes through it.
