While in production, various newspapers reported that this would be the most violent Bond film yet, and would trying to keep up with the mega violence of such recent, popular action fare as "Arma letale (1987)" and "Trappola di cristallo (1988)." This was the first Bond film to score a PG-13 rating, due to its violent content.
