The film was shot almost entirely at night, typically from 9 PM till about 4:30 AM. Though it was during summer, many of the actors and crew complained of startling cold. Most of them did not have trailers on set. In many of the scenes involving filming close-ups of the actors really driving the cars, there may be other actors or crew members curled up and trying to rest or nap under jackets or blankets in the back seats.
