On the photo wall of Callie growing up, found in Egon's secret lab, there is a photo of a 2-3 year old Callie dated 1983. This means Callie was born in 1980-81, long before the events of 1984 in NYC. Egon was keeping a huge secret from his partners and friends as he never mentions a relationship or child. This also puts the brakes on all the theories about Janine being Callie's mother, as she had not yet met Egon or the other Ghostbusters.
