When several of Martin's scripts sheets blow away, he is seen chasing them across the screen behind Joe and Alice. A little later, when Joe is putting make-up on and having a conversation with Alice, Charles and Martin have a heated argument over one of his lines being changed slightly just before filming. In the same scene, watch Preston's mouth as he fakes conversation on the pay phone. Shortly afterwards he stops trying entirely when he's entranced by Alice's performance along with everyone else.
