(at around 1h 32 mins) Tangina claims that the house is at last clean. This proves to be untrue (at around 1h 54 mins) when the ghosts try to capture Carol Anne once again and all the house is destroyed by a supernatural force that sucks it into the Afterlife. This could be caused by the moment when Steve Freeling (at around 1h 31 mins), who doesn't understand Tangina's actions to free all the ghosts trapped in the limbo, pulled the rope much too soon in order to rescue Diane and Carol Anne.
