Director Sebastian Perillo was the Production Manager of the film Cargo de conciencia (2005) directed by Emilio Vieyra. In this particular project Sebastian Perillo met Ricardo Bauleo and both became friends until the death of Bauleo in 2014. In Amateur appears Ricardo Bauleo on screen while Martín watches the film Il sangue delle vergini (1967),directed by Emilio Vieyra.
