When this film was in the making, and the shooting of the song Dil Ka Bhawar Kare Pukar was completed at Kutub Minar, one of the leaders of another country came to watch the shooting, but the shooting was over, so the film makers restarted the shooting of the song again from top of Kutub Minar to bottom, just to show the leader the shooting as not to let him down. Then about 18 years later, Dev Anand got the privilege when the Ugandan President with his wife visited the sets of Swami Dada to watch the shooting. The President and his wife were in Mumbai and said that they want to see the shooting of an Indian film, so they were taken to Mehboob Studios, on Dev's sets, and were pleased to meet Dev Anand and the shooting.
