Although he isn't more main character than the other main characters (Jim Caviezel, Ben Chaplin, Elias Koteas or Nick Nolte), Sean Penn appears the first name in the cast list, while the other members appear alphabetically. In the poster, trailer and domestic format versions, the cast list is smaller than in the movie credits' top billed cast, and even John Travolta's name doesn't appear, being the only A-List actor in the film's final cut whose name isn't on the poster.
