Linda Blair had it written into her contract that she would not wear any of the same demon makeup for L'esorcista II - L'eretico (1977) since the experience of doing it in the first film was so harrowing. This is why the demon is beautiful and feminine in part 2, when in part 1 it was so monstrous.
