The U.S. Navy ships deployed at the Golden Gate Bridge when Godzilla surfaces are Ticonderoga Class guided missile cruisers and Arleigh Burke Class guided missile destroyers. Both classes feature the Aegis Combat System radar, Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, Standard surface to air missiles, 5 inch guns, Harpoon anti-ship and over-the-horizon missiles, torpedoes, Seahawk LAMPS helicopters and ASROC anti-submarine rockets. They are the most heavily armed surface combatants in the world.
