The earliest documented television showing of this film was on 23 January 1942 on New York City's pioneer television station WNBT (Channel 1). At this time, television broadcasting was in its infancy, almost totally curtailed by the advent of World War II, and would not continue to develop until 1945-46. It was re-broadcast on 27 May 1944 on WNBT and on 5 January 1947 on WCBS (Channel 2), inaugurating its series of Sunday movies at the dawn of the post-war television era. It first aired in Chicago Sunday 26 February 1950 on WBKB (Channel 4).
