A reflective, form-fitting bodysuit was created for Daniel Cudmore to wear as Colossus. This was considered a cheaper move, rather than animating Colossus' ability in CGI, as seen in X-Men 2 (2003) and again in Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018).
