Further association with both Greek myth and "hellish" allegory: in the pilot, Trixie tells Lucifer her name is short for Beatrice. Beatrice is a character in Dante's Divine Comedy who sent the Poet Virgil to guide Dante through the nine circles of Hell. Beatrice was Dante's muse, his heavenly guide. Like Persephone, Beatrice became trapped in hell after consuming pomegranate seeds.
