The scene at the ending where Graham (Mel Gibson) pushes the TV set into the living room and the alien's reflection comes into view for an audience jump scare is very similar to a scene in Intrigo internazionale (1959). When Cary Grant is looking at a television he sees an assassin appear behind him in the reflection on the screen.
