The Minions' goggles change during the movie. Stuart, Bob, and Kevin are given the shiny silver goggles you see in the Despicable Me movies after arriving in New York City. All of the other Minions that arrive after the showdown with Scarlet, still have the original gold colored ones. In the last scene with the Queen, the rest of the Minions all have the new style goggles as well.
