Martin Lawrence reunited with three of his former co-stars from What's Happening Now (1985), Ernest Thomas, Shirley Hemphill and Ken Sagoes, each in three different episodes. Fred Berry (Rerun) also guest starred, but Berry was fired from the show before Lawrence was cast.
