In the first three Terminator movies, the death of the villainous Terminator was greeted with the word "Terminated". The previous film, Terminator Salvation (2009) did not have the line spoken aloud, but the word was shown on the T-800's internal display after it killed Marcus Wright, an endoskeleton-enhanced human. In this movie, when Sarah asks if the John Connor Terminator/T-3000 is destroyed, perhaps as an in-joke, the T-800 gives an elaborate description of 'terminated', but avoids the word itself.
