Despite their homespun image, many members of the N.W.A. are veterans of the action genre. Paul Freeman was in I predatori dell'arca perduta (1981), Stuart Wilson was in Arma letale 3 (1992) and Fuga da Absolom (1994), and Timothy Dalton played James Bond in 007 - Zona pericolo (1987) and 007 - Vendetta privata (1989). The head of the N.W.A., Edward Woodward, was voted the greatest British action star for his roles as secret agents in the television series Callan (1967) and Un giustiziere a New York (1985).
