The Punisher skull logo is seen intermittently throughout this movie, beginning with Chris Kyle's first deployment as Ryan "Biggles" Job is seen reading a graphic novel of The Punisher. However, there could be perhaps more of a significance in the correlation between the War in Iraq and The Punisher (2004), to which the said skull logo has the closest resemblance. The Punisher (2004) was released in April, around the same time when U.S. Marines were sustaining heavy casualties during the First Battle of Fallujah.
