The song was referenced in the original script for Terminator 2 - Il giorno del giudizio (1991) as what John and Tim were listening to during their introductory scene, but Director James Cameron decided to use "You Could Be Mine" by Guns N' Roses instead. "Sedated" borrows a great deal from Alice Cooper ("Elected").
