Its directors, Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, were drama teachers on a popular Spanish talent show called "Operación Triunfo". In fact, two of the actresses who perform on the theatre play this movie is based on are ex-contestants of that show (Marta Sango and Nerea Rodríguez).
