L'incredibile Hulk (2008) rebooted the film, intending to fit the character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, as Marvel has the production rights to make a film with the Hulk, Universal Pictures still maintains distribution rights to any film starring the character in his own solo film. Thus, Marvel Studios produced L'incredibile Hulk (2008), but Universal Pictures distributed it.
