When Archie exits the cave to talk to Dolittle. As the discussion heats up, the Doc pokes at Archie who paws him back and knocks him down. For this scene the trainer was in the cave with Archie and released the bear that then walks out of the cave. A split screen was used, so when the bear part was being filmed, the trainer stood in for the actor.
