This movie shows us that David Webb was previously a Captain in the U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Delta (1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta , "1st SFOD-Delta"), otherwise known as the Delta Force. In the Robert Ludlum Novels, Bourne's operational code name in the military (Before joining Treadstone-71) was "Delta."
