Two actors would become iconic and ultimately legendary characters on television: Larry Hagman, soon to be cast as Tony Nelson on Strega per amore (1965) but more famous later as J.R. Ewing on Dallas (1978), and Carroll O'Connor (who appeared with Kirk Douglas earlier in Solo sotto le stelle (1962) ), as Archie Bunker on Arcibaldo (1971).
