A banshee is a female spirit in Irish mythology who heralds the death of a family member by wailing or shrieking. On the bus ride to the castle, bus driver Eamon (Donal McCann) mentions the banshee--a dressed up employee who lands on the bus and in the bedroom due to mishaps--is the Brogan Banshee. Sharon Brogan (Beverly D'Angelo) dies later in the film.
