When Mark types the word 'facebook' in a blog post during the FaceMash scene, beneath the word appears a collection of dots indicating an unrecognised word on the blogging software. The word 'Facebook' is now an acceptable and globally known term on almost all pieces of software such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
