When Nicholas is talking to Tony at the scene of Leslie's murder, a small model goat can be seen on the till. This is a clue to the cult-like NWA behind the killings, as the ritual sacrifice of animals such as goats is common practice in many old-world cults. It's also poignant as she is the only person they seem slightly remorseful about killing for the 'greater good', meaning that they felt like she was a true sacrifice rather than someone who was simply in the way.
