Roy's private island is in the Azores, which is a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean. This is an autonomous region of Portugal approximately 900 miles (1,448 km)west of Lisbon, which is at the same approximate latitude as Philadelphia. The temperatures range from lows in the fifties (10 C) to highs in the high seventies.
