Roger Corman approach the SyFy channel with a sequel which they turned down in fear of it being a total bomb so Corman scrapped it until 2007 when it was reintroduced as a new movie called Supergator which he produced as well as the 2010 sequel to both films Dinocroc vs Supergator.
