Agnes Moorehead, who played a judge, and Reta Shaw, who was the nosy busybody, both appeared in Il segreto di Pollyanna (1960) the previous year as Mrs. Snow and Tillie Lagerlof, respectively. A few years later Agnes and Reta would appear in Vita da strega (1964) with Moorehead in the recurring role of Endora, and Shaw guesting in 4 episodes as Bertha/Aunt Hagatha. Agnes and Reta though would only share scenes in one episode for the third season entitled Witches and Warlocks Are My Favorite Things (1966).
