During the dive bombing attack on the Japanese carriers by Best and McCloskey, planes are seen attacking the Soryu. These planes are from the Yorktown and commanded by Maxwell Leslie. They arrived at the Japanese fleet at the same time as Enterprise's planes by sheer coincidence.
