In Power Rangers (1993), all five Rangers were given a custom weapon which they could combine to form a powerful weapon. In this film, Jason is the only Ranger to wield a custom weapon. The filmmakers said they wanted all the other Rangers to get their weapons but this had to be cut out for running time purposes.
