"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment appears prominently in the 2012 video game "Epic Mickey 2: L'avventura di Topolino e Oswald (2012)" where the beginning of the game has Mickey in the castle, having to get the Paintbrush and paint the Model of Wasteland. Yen Sid's lab includes the Map Room, the Starry Cliff Tops, the Observatory, and the "Study Room". Mickey can collect, unlock and wear his "Sorcerer's Apprentice" Outfit from 1940's "Fantasia" segment "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", which also reverts his face to his modern appearance. The "Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria" segment from 1940's "Fantasia" appears as "A Night on Bald Mountain" as a projector screen transition level with two different versions. The Sweeper Blotlings largely resemble the Brooms from "Fantasia"'s "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment. They carry buckets of thinner to throw at Mickey, and will sweep him away if he gets too close.
