Kellie Shirley said the rape scenes were so distressing they only did two takes. She added: "It's every girl's nightmare so it was very upsetting to play. You see bits of it, but some of is left to the audience's imagination. And Kellie revealed that during fighting scenes, co-star Peter Barrett clipped her eye by mistake. She said: "It really hurt! I ended up with this burst blood vessel for about two weeks afterwards, I couldn't wear contact lenses so I couldn't see anything."
