In the scene where Ranger Lambert (played by Scott Eastwood) walks in to break up the fight between Amara and Cadet Victoria, he said that he was just like them before, and that he was a "nobody". Scott Eastwood also had another role before, as an elite operative in The Fate of The Furious (2017) in which he was nicknamed "Little Nobody".
