One of the last movies filmed at Old Tucson Studios before the big fire of April 25, 1995. Much of Old Tucson was destroyed including rare behind the scenes footage of John Wayne as well as artifacts such as wardrobe from La casa nella prateria (1974) and buildings such as McLintock Saloon from the movie McLintock (1963) The size of the fire took deployment of 100 pieces of equipment and over 200 firefighters from every fire department in the Tucson Metro area, including Arizona National Guard and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The studio has since been rebuilt and is open to the public.
