Linda Hamilton accepted her role in the film because she saw how the previous film had skyrocketed the career of Jessica Lange. During filming she had no idea what the end product would look like. as she was acting against blue screens or giant ape hands. She was absolutely horrified when she saw the final product, which was universally blasted by reviewers and audiences alike.
