Originally titled, "Red Light Area", then "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes". The latter title originates from a 1962 hit single by American pop singer Bobby Vee and a conversation Wright had with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who was told by Allison Anders that 'Last Night in Soho' was the "best title music for a film that's never been made".
