With this film, Tom Hooper became the third person to win both an Oscar and a Razzie for directing, after Michael Cimino (Il cacciatore (1978) and I cancelli del cielo (1980)) and Kevin Costner (Balla coi lupi (1990) and L'uomo del giorno dopo (1997)).
