Peyton Wells as a character does not actually exist in the games. However, he is partially influenced by the video game character Brad Vickers from Biohazard 3: Last Escape (1999). They both die in a similar fashion as well, they are killed by Nemesis while it is simultaneously Jill Valentine's first encounter with the mutant.
