The lab in which the Predator is held contains display cases containing artifacts from previous Predator films: two Predator masks from Predator 2 (1990) and Alien vs. Predator (2004); the retractable spear from Predator 2; the shoulder blaster from Alien vs. Predator, and the custom-made spear with a Xenomorph tail from Alien vs. Predator. Although the crossover movies Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator 2 (2007) were all but decanonized from the Alien franchise in the wake of the release of its prequel Prometheus (2012), no such thing has occurred for the Predator series, so the events of the AvP movies may still remain part of the overall Predator continuity.
